Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing is one of my favorite Sega games on iOS, and it’s making its way to the Mac thanks to Feral Interactive. The game will be available to download from the Mac App Store tomorrow, April 4, with support for Game Center and iCloud game syncing.

If you’ve not played Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, you’re missing out — particularly if you like games like Mario Kart, because it’s one of the best racers the App Store has to offer. It features 20 characters from the biggest Sega games, including Sonic, Tails, and Dr. Eggman, and colorful tracks inspired by Sega’s game worlds.

The game has its fill of weapons and power-ups that make the races all the more exciting, and you can either play alone, against a friend in split-screen mode, or against random opponents online.

You’ll need a Mac running OS X 10.8.3 with at least a 1.8GHz Intel processor, 4GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and 256MB graphics. For the best experience, you’ll need a 2.4GHz processor and 512MB graphics — plus a gamepad.

Look out for Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing in the Mac App Store tomorrow. Feral hasn’t yet announced the price tag, unfortunately, so we’ll have to wait for it to appear.
