Nook-iPad

If you’re a frequent user of the official Nook app for iOS, then you’re going to love its latest update. In addition to support for high resolution magazines on the iPad, version 3.4.0 introduces support for Nook Comics, more detailed imagery, better organization options, and lots more.

The update allows you to download and read Nook Comics for the very first time on iOS, and thanks to Nook’s ZoomView feature, you can get a close-up, panel-by-panel view of the action. You can also download high definition magazines for the first time, providing you have an iPad.

Another first for Nook is the addition of animated page turns for books, which you’ll already be familiar with if you use Apple’s iBooks app. The update also adds detailed book illustrations, which you can zoom into, and better organization for newspapers and magazines.

Finally, version 3.4.0 promises improved download and sync capabilities, PDF reader enhancements, and bug fixes.

The latest Nook app is available to download from the App Store now — just hit the source link below.
