Ex-Apple evangelist, Guy Kawasaki, hasn’t been working at Motorola for even a month yet, but he’s already dropping hints on what Motorola’s next flagship smartphone might be like.

Earlier this week, Guy Kawasaki hinted on his Google+ page that Motorola’s next phone will have customizable hardware options.

Guy posted the following on his Google+ page:

“Wouldn’t it be great if you could personalize your phone like this?

The link takes viewers to a YouTube video created by Porsche that talks about customization of their cars.

Kawasaki joined Motorola as an advisor on product design, user interface, and social media. Motorola has struggled to produce a hit Android phone over the last few years, but we’re skeptical that pure customization could really work with smartphones. The number of custom parts would be tough for any company to keep up with.

Motorola’s newest flagship device might be unveiled at Google I/O conference in May. Until then, we’ll just have to dream how nice it’d be to swap out your phone’s processor after it’s become obsolete every few years.
