Portable Laptop Stand Renders Portable Computers Less Portable
You know what you need when you go away on a weekend trip? Along with your two suitcases worth of clothing, a laptop, a pair of iPads, a speaker maybe, plus case of shoes (rain or shine… Who knows?), chargers, your own personal pillow and, well, you get the point. Now you can add to that list the Traveler Laptop Stand from Magma. That’s right: a folding, portable stand for your folding, portable computer.
I can understand a, uh, stand at home, where you might prefer to pair your notebook computer with a keyboard and mouse. But the whole point of a notebook is that it can be carried around and used anywhere. So this Traveler Laptop Stand seems as useful as a walking-stick cosy.
Still, I’m sure there’s someone out there that could make use of this $99 aluminum frame, which will hold laptops up to 17 inches in size, and suspend them a foot above the desk. It folds down to a mere 11.8 x 10.8 x 0.8 inches, and comes with its own carry bag.
Interested? No, me either. But if you were, you could buy one right now by following the link below. Who knows? Maybe you have a 11.8 x 10.8 x 0.8-inch space in your carry on that needs filling?
