The new 128GB iPad with Retina display is now available to order from the Apple online store. The device is priced from $799, and it’s currently shipping in 1-3 business days. You’ll also be able to find it in your local Apple retail store.

Announced last Tuesday — a week ago today — the 128GB iPad offers double the storage of the previous high-end iPad, the 64GB model. If you go for the Wi-Fi only model, it costs $799 and ships in 1-3 business days. If you want 4G LTE connectivity on top — compatible with AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint — that’ll set you back $929 and you’ll have to wait 3-5 business days for it to ship.

In case you’re still wondering whether you really need a 128GB iPad, our feature on how many apps, games, songs, videos, and photos you can fit on a device with that kind of storage might help you decide.

If you’re a movie buff who likes to ensure you have plenty of content to watch on the go, or a gamer who likes to have a wide variety of games at their fingertips, then it might be worthwhile; you could fit up to 32 hours of high-definition video on a 128GB iPad, and more than 2,000 games.

Unfortunately, the iPad mini isn’t available with 128GB of storage — at least not yet.
