In Russia, iTunes Store Is Now (Accidentally) Serving Up Porn
Our friend Aleksandr Piterman of Ukranian iPhone has emailed us to point out what appears to be an amusing and saucy bug in the recently-launched Russian iTunes store: iTunes is now offering porn to users. Pictures below the fold (NSFW!)
The bug is accessible by clicking on the “Films In Different Languages” banner under the Movies section of the iTunes store, then clicking on “More Films In Different Languages.”
Doing so causes iTunes to load up XXX.xxx, an online pornography website. Presumably, this occurs because some genius within Apple used http://www.xxx.xxx as a placeholder URL.
Apple’s no doubt already working out the issue.
