Adobe has released a teaser video for Photoshop CS6, which the company will unveil on December 11, and it suggests one of the software’s new features will be support for the high-resolution Retina displays in Apple’s latest MacBook Pros. The 15-inch machine actually features in the clip, and there are plenty of close-ups that show rather crisp visuals.
You can watch the clip below. It’s only 43 seconds long, but if you take a good look at all those close-ups on Photoshop’s buttons and menus, you’ll notice that they look pretty sharp on the Retina MacBook Pro that the application’s running on. If this isn’t a hint at Retina-ready visuals, we don’t know what is.

High-resolution visuals haven’t been confirmed by Adobe, of course, but there’s no reason why the company wouldn’t include them with this release. After all, it updated its Lightroom software to support the new Retina MacBook Pros earlier this month, and its flagship applications shouldn’t be far behind.
Adobe will be announcing Photoshop CS6 at its Create Now Live event on December 11, which you’ll be able to watch live on YouTube. It kicks off at 10 a.m. PST.
