Here at Cult of Mac, we love Checkmark, the terrific task management app for iPhone. In fact, we think its awesome location-based reminders make it the perfect alternative to Apple’s own Reminders app. If you haven’t already discovered it yourself, then now’s the perfect time, because Checkmark is on sale for $0.99 just this week.
Normally priced at $2.99, Checkmark promises to be “the fastest way to remind yourself of all the things you have to do in your busy life.” It boasts the ability to create time- and location-based reminders in just three taps.
With time-based reminders, Checkmark offers recurring tasks for the things you need to do every day, every week, or every month. And with location-based reminders, you can use your favorite locations or addresses from your contacts to create tasks that automatically alert you when you reach a certain destination.
Checkmark offers all kinds of nifty features, in addition to a clean, simple user interface. It’s one of the nicest task management apps your can get on iPhone; I just wish it was available for iPad, too.
