I hope you have some cash left after Black Friday, because we have some awesome iOS games for you in this week’s roundup. Kicking us off is Vengeance: Woz With A Coz, the first video game to feature Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. We also have Meganoid 2, and awesome new platform game; the best boxing game you’ll find on iOS, and more.

Vengeance: Woz With A Coz — Universal ($0.99)

Vengeance: Woz With A Coz, the new iOS game featuring Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak that we told you about earlier this month, is now available to download from the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Priced at just $0.99, the 8-bit retro platformer sees Woz teaming up with Danny Trejo in an effort to save Woz’s wife, “J-Woz,” who has been kidnapped.

The title boasts an intriguing storyline that was written by Woz himself, and is a tie-in to Trejo’s upcoming move, Vengeance. If you’re a fan of platform games, this one’s well worth taking a look at — especially at just $0.99.

Meganoid 2 — Universal ($0.99)

I didn’t really want to start my roundup with two platform games, but I couldn’t not include Meganoid 2 — like its predecessor, it’s awesome. Its developers insist it is not easy, and that “you will need to bring your best game skills to complete the short but hard levels.”

They also say that each level can be completed “within a few seconds,” however, it’ll take you so many retries — it’s literally that hard — that that almost never happens. But because the levels are short, it doesn’t get frustrating when you have to start over. In fact, it’s a whole lot of fun.

If you liked the original Meganoid, then you’ll love this one.

Real Boxing — Universal ($4.99)

Real Boxing is by far the best-looking boxing game on iOS. It promises to bring you the “most exhilarating, no holds barred fighting action ever seen on the App Store, taking you closer to the action than you ever thought possible.”

It features “ultra-realistic” motion capture from real boxers, plus incredible graphics thanks to the Unreal Engine 3. You can play through the career mode, which features more than 30 belts and three belts to conquer, in addition to the KO and Clinch mini-games. My favorite game mode, however, is the online multiplayer, which allows you to fight against a friend in real-time via Game Center.

Heroes of Order & Chaos — Universal (Free)

Gameloft’s terrific online multiplayer is back, and it’s better then ever. Gather your teammates and strengthen your heroes before embarking upon your mission to wipe out the enemy base in thrilling, fast-paced battles.

There are more than 30 unique heroes to choose from, from “melee bruisers” to devastating wizards, with which you can fight solo or with friends on two map-types: 3v3 and 5v5. As you progress your character, you’ll develop your skills and equipment which will help you overpower for enemies more efficiently every time.

If you’re a World of Warcraft fan, Gameloft’s Order & Chaos is the closest substitute you’ll get on iOS.

What’s Your Favorite?

So that concludes our list of this week’s must-have iOS games. If you’ve picked up something that you think we should have included, be sure to let us know about it in the comments.
