Apple Plans To Open Their First Apple Store In Brazil Next Year

While Apple Stores across the U.S. continue to enjoy a lot of success, Apple is looking to expand their retail operations overseas in countries such as China, Turkey and now Brazil.

According to a new press release, Apple has informed the Brazilian press that they plan to open their first Apple Store in Rio de Janerio next year. If the Rio de Janeiro store is successful, Apple is likely to follow it up with more retail locations in Brazil, which is also where Foxconn has built new factories to assemble iPads.

In an email to the press, Apple stated:

“We look forward to the opening of the first Apple Store in Brazil, where we have long standing customers and hope to win many more every day. Can not wait to offer the unique Apple retail to the people of Rio de Janeiro and customers entire region.”

Apple has posted 12 new jobs on its website on Monday pertaining to the opening of the store in Brazil which will also be the first Apple Store in Latin America. Apple now has 390 Apple Store worldwide.
