We reported on Negative Nimbus a couple of weeks ago, calling it a sweet-natured iPad game with a horribly sad raincloud, the aforementioned Nimbus.

Tomorrow, it’ll be updated to a universal app, which will make it playable on the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. You can also unlock a new world that has 8 new additional levels, more comics, new hats, and more achievements, which can only be a good thing.

Negative Nimbus is really a sweet game, and the animations and adorable voice bits will have you chuckling as Nimbus apologizes for drenching his friends on the ground as he passes by, hoping to keep the flowers watered.

Help guide Nimbus the curmudgeonly rain cloud through the various worlds of Sunnyland, raining down on all the flowers (they love it!) while trying to keep all of Sunnyland’s other inhabitants dry (they hate rain!). Along the way, players will unlock achievements, comics, new accessories, and meet all of the friendly folk of Sunnyland.

For $0.99, you can get this cute little game for your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad in the App Store right now, and though the update will go live officially tomorrow, we are seeing the the new version 1.1.1 in the App Store.
