Clear for iPhone update

Popular todo list app Clear has been updated on the iPhone with several new features and improvements. The folks at Realmac Software have added iCloud syncing for keeping tasks updated across devices—the feature will come in handy when the Mac version of Clear ships tonight. A new gesture for quickly accessing multiple lists has also been added. You can now quickly add text from your iOS clipboard to new tasks by shaking your device while Clear is open.

Full list of changes:

What’s New in Version 1.2

✭ Clear 1.2: The “Store Your Lists in iCloud” Update ✭

Grab your raincoats, because it’s getting cloudy! We’ve been working on this update to Clear for a while, and the #1 most-requested feature is here!

✭ Clear for iPhone + iCloud

You can now store your lists in iCloud, and access them on iOS as well as on your Mac! (Check out Clear for Mac, brand new on the Mac App Store!) Plus your unlocked themes are stored in iCloud too – so they’ll unlock on all your devices.

✭ Share Your Favorite Quotes

We noticed so many of you sharing your favorite quotes on Twitter and Facebook, so we’ve made it much easier and added a bunch more to keep you inspired.

✭ Quick List Switching

Swipe from the edges of your device to change between Lists without having to use the menus!

✭ Paste Text as Lists

If you’ve got a list of things you need to do in an email, just copy them from Mail and give Clear a shake to paste in tasks.

✭ Send tasks to Clear from other apps

Another favourite request, you can now create tasks in Clear from other apps such as Launch Center Pro.

THANK YOU for making this all possible, and stay Clear! ❤

This update to Clear for iPhone is a precursor to the highly anticipated release of Clear for Mac later tonight. I’ll have a full review when the Mac version goes live in the Mac App Store. Stay tuned.

Clear for iPhone is available in the App Store now for $1.99.
