Here’s a nifty little tweak that’ll help you write new emails a little quicker: It’s called SpotMail, and it lets you create new emails from directly within Spotlight on your jailbreak iOS device. All you have to do is type in the recipient’s email address and hit search.

SpotMail is a free tweak available from the ModMyi repository within Cydia. Once installed, you can type an email address into Spotlight, hit ‘Search’, and you’ll be taken to a new message in the Mail app that has the recipient’s address automatically filled. AppAdvice demonstrates how it works:

Of course, this may not be a quicker way to send new emails if you don’t remember the email address of your recipient. But if you do, it’s pretty snappy.
