All Abooord! Awesome Halloween Update for Celebrated Ticket-to-Ride iPad Board Game

Days of Wonder have decorated their so-addictive-you-can’t-stop-playing-to-eat iPad train game, Ticket to Ride, with a new Halloween-themed update. As if I don’t lose enough time to this damn game.

In case you’ve been sleeping in a coffin the last few years, Ticket-to-Ride is a shockingly popular iPad board game that pits you against either live players in your immediate vicinity, live players over the web or the game’s AI players (which, I suppose, is like playing the undead) in a thrilling, sometimes cut-throat race to build train tracks.

And just to spice things up further, Days of Wonder are handing out prizes of their new Halloween Freighter train-and-station set for the board game to the first three players to unlock the two new Halloween-themed “Ghost-Catcher” and “Pumpkin-Master” achievements. Just send a screenshot of the proof to (sorry, you need Javascript to see this e-mail address)with “Cult of Mac” in the subject line or email body. And remember, this is a race, so get cracking.
