Gooogle Adds Major Update To Street View, Still No iOS Maps App

Google has just made its “biggest ever update” to Street View, adding over a quarter of a million miles worth of roads around the globe.

We’re increasing Street View coverage in Macau, Singapore, Sweden, the U.S., Thailand, Taiwan, Italy, Great Britain, Denmark, Norway and Canada. And we’re launching special collections in South Africa, Japan, Spain, France, Brazil and Mexico, among others.

Still no Street View inside Google Earth for iOS though. Surely this would be the perfect place to add it, at least until Google makes a maps app and Apple approves it at least. For now, you can browse various collections at the Google Street View Gallery
