We first told you about Rayman Jungle Run a couple weeks ago, when Ubisoft unveiled its first trailer, and we’ve been looking forward to it since. The title was scheduled to hit the App Store tomorrow, but fortunately for you, it just turned up a day early.

Rayman Jungle Run is a little unlike any Rayman game you’ve ever played before. It’s not a traditional platform game; instead it employs an “auto run” mechanic that sees Rayman automatically sprinting through each level — all you have to do is tell him when to jump.

The game feels a lot like the treasure chest chase levels in Rayman Origins, so if you’ve been playing this game on consoles, Jungle Run will probably feel familiar to you. It’s built upon the same UbiArt Framework Origins is, so it looks terrific, with high-resolution artwork optimized for the Retina display.

Jungle Run promises new worlds to discover, new powers to unlock, captivating music, Game Center achievements, and exclusive wallpapers you can unlock for your iOS device. It’s priced at $2.99 and supports both iPhone and iPad. You’ll find it in the App Store now using the source link below.
