U.K. retailer PC World has made some incredible reductions to Apple’s last-generation Macs, with prices starting at just £379 (about $670) for a refurbished Mac mini. It also has MacBook Airs starting at £499 (about $790), and MacBook Pros starting at £649 (about $1,028) — that’s £350 (about $554) off the original price tag.
If you’re on the lookout for a 17-inch MacBook Pro — which Apple discontinued with the last refresh — you can now pick one up at PC World with a 2.4GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 750GB of storage for just £999 (about $1,582), with a whopping £1,100 (about $1,742) off its price tag.
The 15.4-inch model can be had for as little as £869 (about $1,376), while the 13.3-inch model is selling for as little as £729 (about $1,155).
As for the MacBook Air, the 11-inch model is selling from £499 (about $790), and the 13-inch model is selling from £649 (about $1,028).
Of course, these are all last-generation models, so you won’t get things like USB 3.0, Intel’s latest Ivy Bridge processors, or Mountain Lion pre-installed. But you will get Thunderbolt. And because they’re last-generation models, once they’re gone, they’re gone, so you’ll have to grab them quick if you want one.
