The TiltPod, The Handiest iPhone Keychain Tripod Yet

Isn't it cute?

Yes, this is yet another iPhone tripod thingy, but this one is a little different. First, it’s not a Kickstarter project, so you can order it right now should you choose to. And second, it fits onto your keyring, so you will always have it with you when you need it – handy, because nobody every pats there pockets as they leave the house and thinks “You know, I really should take that iPhone photo stand out with me today. Y’know – just in case.”

It’s called the TiltPod and it comes from the fine folks at Photojojo. As you might have inferred from the name, the TiltPod has a magnetic ball head to let you tilt the iPhone to just the right angle – essential in a stand as tiny as this one. The iPhone slides into the slot on the top and is held tight, while the rubbery, grippy base does its best to grab the surface below.

And that’s it – no sticky-out screws, no weird levers. In fact, it could even pass for one of those regular novelty keychains that some people (not you, of course) hang from their keys, adding no functionality whatsoever (unless you count making your keys hard-to-carry as a feature).

Want one? Then grab your $15 and head over to the Photojojo store, where you will find one waiting for you.
