Leather Fanny-Pack For Mirrorless Cameras Is Inexplicably Cool
Gadget Holders on your belt = dorky. However, awesome leather quick-access camera-holder on your belt = super-cool. Yes, somehow the laws of nature have been temporarily suspended to make this Japanese hand-made leather fanny pack into a desirable and stylish item.
Thanks to its drop-in nature, the case will fit pretty much any mirrorless camera. The official list goes like this:
SONY NEX5, 5D, F3, C3; OLYMPUS PEN E-PL1, PL2, PL3, PM1;RICOH GXR; LUMIX GF1, GF2, GF3, GF5, GX1; NIKON 1 J1, V1
You can pick from the honey leather shown here, along with dark brown or black. You can also choose to buy the case without a belt, and just hook it onto your own instead, but that option will bring you dangerously close to dork territory.
There appears to be only one downside. The price: At ¥18,900, or $240, these cases aren’t cheap. Then again, they are hand made, and they manage to mess with the natural order of things, so we’re not complaining.
