We’re still trawling through the new iOS 6 beta releases that Apple pushed out after its WWDC keynote yesterday, and we continue to find nice new features and improvements. If you’re as excited about iOS 6 as we are, you’d probably like to hear about them.

Here’s a few changes Apple has made to emoji, Reminders, and more.

Remember that jailbreak tweak I told you about a little while ago, which unlocks all of the new emoji icons that Apple has hidden within iOS 5? Well, in iOS 6 you don’t need a tweak to unlock them — they’re already there.

It’s hard to tell exactly how many new icons there are (and I’m certainly not willing to count each one), but there’s certainly a good selection of new additions.

Apple has also introduced a “new” banner which is applied to apps you download from the App Store. It remains there until you open the app for the first time, and then it disappears.

Lastly, Reminders finally displays badges for outstanding tasks. This is something I have sorely missed since the app made its debut in iOS 5 (unless I have badges, I forget about Reminders I’m not supposed to forget about) and it’s coming to iOS 6.

We’ll continue to dig into iOS 6 and bring you any changes or improvements that are worth writing about. If you’re running the beta and you discover anything new, be sure to let us know.
