This week's must-have roundup features new titles from Gameloft, Sega, Chillingo, and more.

Men in Black 3, the official game of one of this year’s biggest action blockbusters, is now available on iPhone and iPad, finally giving you the opportunity to create and manage your own MiB agency and protect New York from the scum of the universe. It’s completely free and its leading this week’s must-have games roundup, which also includes Sega’s first Virtua Tennis title for iOS, a stunning new game from Chillingo, and more.

Men in Black 3 — Universal (Free)

Let’s be honest, at some point we’ve all dreamt about dusting off our funeral suit and fighting aliens with Will Smith as a Men in Black agent. Thanks to Gameloft, that dream is now a reality… on your iOS device.

With your own MiB agency, it’s your job to train new agents and assign them to missions, equipped with a wide range of weapons and gadgets like the the Neuralyzer, the Deatomizer, and the infamous Noisy Cricket. It’s important to keep upgrading your agency and your infantry to keep those aliens in check.

You’ll travel through time to fight enemies in both 1969 and 2012 New York, with battles in Brooklyn, Central Park, and Times Square. When the going gets too tough, ask your friends from Gameloft LIVE or Facebook to come and help you out. And when you help them, you’ll be rewarded for your efforts.

Virtua Tennis Challenge — Universal ($4.99)

For the second week in a row, a Sega title makes it into our must-have games roundup. This week’s pick is Virtua Tennis Challenge, the world’s leading tennis game franchise.

Slice, lob and hit your best top spin as you take on the world’s best and compete against 50 players in 18 stadiums around the globe. Build concentration by making plays that match your player’s style; unleashing a super shot that will make your opponent sweat. Enjoy hours of game play through different modes, shots and courts.

Single player game modes include SPT World Tour, exhibition match, and quick match mode. Alternatively, you can compete against friends over Wi-Fi, which I highly recommend.

Air Mail — Universal ($4.99)

Chillingo’s latest release, Air Mail, is a wonderful flying game with gorgeous visuals that looks terrific on the latest iOS devices. You play an air mail pilot who takes to the skies in a biplane to deliver letters in three different game modes, including mission mode, which delivers a story spread over seven chapters; express delivery mode, which is a score-attack game; and explore mode, which allows you to explore each of the game’s stunning islands collecting hidden items. Along the way you’ll have to avoid all kinds of disasters using one of Air Mail’s three intuitive control systems.

Shoot The Zombirds — Universal ($0.99)

Shoot The Zombirds is a “new and absorbing game of bird and zombie shooting. Both at the same time!” You job is to protect the defenseless pumpkins against the demonic hordes of undead birds which completing dozens of challenging objectives.

It’s a pretty simple game, but it’s a whole lot of fun, and its graphics are truly mesmerizing. This is one you’ll want to keep coming back to to play over and over again.

Slingshot Racing — Universal ($0.99)

Slingshot Racing is a unique racing game that’s unlike anything else you’ve played on iOS. “Behold a beautiful steampunk environment with ice tracks, grappling hooks, snowmen and more!” Use grappling hooks to “slingshot” your car around each bend in this fast-paced, arcade style racer that features an expansive career mode with 64 races, and 4-way multiplayer.

It takes a little getting used to, but once you’ve picked up that control system, Slingshot Racing is incredibly addictive. It’s got great graphics and plenty going on, such as numerous game modes including pickups race, time trials, and more. And it’s a bargain at $0.99.
