BlackRapid’s LensBling Adds Handy Focal-Length Labels To Lens Caps

Like any bling, LensBling looks fancy, but costs more than the DIY option
BlackRapid’s new LensBling is a product that could be emulated with 100% efficacy in just seconds, using nothing but a whiteout marker. However, thanks to the biases of customers who look down upon anything appearing even vaguely home made, pro photographers can instead spend $8.50 per lens.
LensBling is a range of rear lens caps with focal lengths written on them. The idea is that when you have your lenses arranged in your bag like eggs in a basket, they all look the same from above. Adding a “50mm” cap to the back of your 50mm lens, and so on, will help you pick out the right lens first time. As a neat-freak I appreciate this very much.
But as a cheapskate DIYer, I would just write the numbers on myself. And I wouldn’t even use whiteout, which really is ugly. Instead, I’d follow PetaPixel’s advice and use masking tape and a sharpie.
Should you wish to waste your cash, though, then the LensBling caps will be available “soon,” for these lenses:
