Apple’s iTunes Match service is rolling out to more countries across the globe, including Italy, Greece and Portugal. The music storage and streaming service can be purchased directly in the iTunes Store.
This marks Apple’s second major international rollout of iTunes Match to date, following the service’s expansion to parts of Latin America and Europe back in January.
Multiple reports are saying that international users are reporting updated iTunes terms and conditions with new references to iTunes Match, indicating that the service is being rolled out to more areas. Available countries include Italy, Greece, Portugal, Austria, Bulgaria and Slovenia.
Alongside iTunes Match, customers in these countries should also be able to access purchased music in iCloud and re-download it to registered iOS devices and desktop computers.
Apple’s official list of countries with iTunes Match hasn’t been updated to reflect these new additions yet. 37 counties are still listed.
If you are in one of the included countries, refresh the iTunes Store and look for the option to signup for iTunes Match. Your iTunes library will then be scanned and matched in the cloud.
