Daily Deals: Apple TV, Gigaware iPod Dual Dock Charger, App Store Freebies

We start the week with Apple’s $100 drop on the price of its 160GB Apple TV units to $229. Next we have the $20 Gigaware dual dock charger for iPods, plus a new round of freebies from the App Store.

The Apple Store dropped its price on the Apple TV 160GB, model no. MB189LL/A, to $229 with free shipping. (That’s a $100 drop and even $50 below what Apple charges for a refurbished unit.) Sales tax is added where applicable. This media streaming device displays 720p widescreen video and features a 160GB hard drive, 802.11n wireless, Ethernet, and HDMI, component video, and RCA audio outputs.

RadioShack again offers the Gigaware Dual Docking Charger for iPod and iPhone, model no. 12-498, for $19.99 with free shipping. (That ties last week’s mention, since expired, for the lowest total price we’ve seen by $6.) Sales tax is added where applicable. It includes seven iPod dock adapters. Deal ends September 19.

Buy.com offers the Cirago 1TB Wireless Media Center, model no. CMC1000, for $219.99. This $20 mail-in rebate cuts it to $199.99. (With free shipping, that’s tied with our mention from June and the lowest total price we could find.) This device streams your PC’s digital music, movies, and photos to any TV in your home via a wired or wireless connection (wireless USB adapter included). It also adds DVR functionality to your PC (tuner not included). It has an HDMI output. Rebate ends September 27.

Dell Home offers the Creative Labs Sound Blaster Wireless for iTunes for $109.99. (With free shipping, that’s the lowest total price we’ve seen by $38.) Sales tax is added where applicable. The transmitter connects to a Mac or PC via USB. It streams iTunes music to a pair of powered speakers attached to the included wireless receiver. A remote control is also included.

Buy.com offers the Brother QL-570 Professional Label Printer for $36.99 with free shipping. (Although it was $2 less in July [since expired], it’s the lowest total price we could find now by $33.)
