Not being the most informed “streamer”, now is this process for moving the dvd content to the iPad or somehow “stream” it to the iPad so as you really need to be within range of the truck(mac)?

  • Gabriel Dornier

Pair it with iDentify, ill will fill all metatags including chapters and artwork.

  • John C Bachandouris

I get the invalid code error using the code found in the folder.

Never mind. Re-downloaded and the new key works.

this comment has been moderated because the commenter has not taken the time to read the article in its entirety before commenting. The software provided is a full free version. Read the entire article to use the license key.

Unless something has changed since the last post about this so-called free offer, it’s not quite a scam, but nor is it at all what it seems. Once you download the “free” software, you get an alert warning you that this is an evaluation copy only, and that it only records the first five minutes of your videos. For the full capability that is suggested in this post, you’re invited to drop $34.95 on the full version.

Shame on Cult of Mac for accepting this sponsored misinformation not once, but twice.

You can only use this for 5mins then it want you to BUY the full version. What a total crock of sh….. Expected more from Cult of Mac!!

  • asura

@MarkDavidGerson – the license key is in the key.txt file on the DMG. Copy and paste it onto the License Code line and click on the Unlock button to fully activate the software

how do you rip a TV series so that the shows are individual files?

  • JSBrock

    Handbrake. Enough Said.
Opensource, free, more powerful, and it doesn’t look like something from Mac OS 7

  • iCook

Many thanks for this App :-)

  • Lane Jasper

As suggested below the license is in a folder under key.txt…Well, I only see two files in the dmg one is the app and the other an app folder alias and even in “show package contants” (right clicking on App in mounted dmg) I checked every files and none was a key….anyone??????? TIA! :-)

Go back to your downloads folder. It’s in the folder with the DMG, not the folder with the apps.

How is using this any different from using Handbrake to rip your DVD’s then putting the files into your iTunes library to be either synced or streamed to your iPad?
