Never ever lose anything ever again. Ever

ZOMG! Never lose your iPhone again with the ZOMM Wireless Leash Plus, a hardware/software combo that wirelessly ties your iPhone to a needy dongle that cries whenever the two are separated. It can help you to remember your phone, your keys, or even where you parked Grandma.

The free app is at the heart of the setup. It lets you snap a photograph of, say, the place you locked up your bike and remembers the GPS location. Then, when you stagger out of the bar hours later, it will guide you to your ride.

It gets a whole lot handier when you pair it up with the ZOMM tag. The Leash Plus connects via Bluetooth and will sound an alarm when it goes out of range. The iPhone app can be configured to shriek, vibrate or otherwise warn you of impending separation, and you can set various modes; a gym-mode might be handy for when you leave your keychain in your locker, say.

The ZOMM also acts as a Bluetooth “headset,” and as an emergency panic dialer, with one-touch calls to 911. The ZOMM site illustrates this with an unhealthy-looking man leaning against a tree, simultaneously clutching his chest and pressing the panic button. Hey, it could happen.

The free app itself looks handy enough, and a BT remote is also pretty useful. Given that the Wireless Leash Plus costs just $90, it seems like a steal.
