MSN-on-iPad

Microsoft has launched another version of its MSN app for the iPad to cater for U.S. customers, following its debut in Canada, Germany, France, and the U.K. late last month.

The free app, which provides users with a access to MSN U.S. articles, can be downloaded now from the U.S. App Store. It sports a user interface that has been likened to that of the popular Pulse newsreader from Alphonso Labs, though Microsoft’s app also throws in hints of its Metro UI. It also has Microsoft’s Bing search engine built in:

MSN is now available on your iPad – easily swipe to find your favorite news, sports entertainment, autos and money articles & videos in one place. Easily share what you find with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or e-mail a link to the article.

Of course you can view articles, photos and videos in either portrait or landscape modes with MSN for iPad. Need to dig deeper on something you just read? We’ve built Bing right into the top of the app for easy searching.

MSN also provides quick access to your Hotmail and Windows Live Messenger accounts, and support for both landscape and portrait orientations.
