Sparrow 1.5 Lands In The Mac App Store With Dropbox Integration And Improved Search

Popular email client Sparrow has received a significant update today. Sparrow 1.5 brings several improvements to the beautiful Mac app, including integration with Dropbox. Users can mail attachments with either Dropbox or CloudApp.

Version 1.5 also introduces improved search tokens and several other bug fixes. The update is available in the Mac App Store as a free download for existing customers.

What’s New in Version 1.5

3 new features:

- Dropbox integration. Drag, drop, send (and sync). Sending a mail with attachment has never been simpler.
- Improved search with tokens and suggestions.
- Remote image blocking for a better Spam control.

Bug fix:
- Unread count issue
- iCloud sync bug
- Unified Inbox sync bug
- Font size is kept in composer
- Encoding issue for Korean, Japanese, Russian and Arabic

A lite version of Sparrow can be downloaded for free on the app’s website. The full app costs $9.99 in the Mac App Store.

Sparrow has teased an iPhone version of its beautiful Mac app already. The iPhone app is expected to drop in the coming months.
