Belkin Says ‘Hello, We’ve Got an iPad 2 Keyboard Case Too’

Belkin today released its Keyboard Folio for iPad 2, a $100 Bluetooth keyboard case. Like Adonit’s Writer 2 (review coming soon), Belkin’s take on the iPad keyboard/case is a faux suede folio with attached BT keyboard and placeholder to carry the iPad 2 around in.

Belkin is betting its “TruType” keys set the Keyboard Folio apart from other keyboard cases — the keys look a little larger, flatter and more like the keys you’d see on a Mac than many other versions of the keyboard case out there — good news for clumsy fingers (like mine).

The folio has a built-in battery with a claimed 60-hour life, a micro-USB port for charging the battery, adjustable viewing angles and a design that keeps the keyboard away from the iPad’s screen when closed. There’s also a switch that toggles between two modes: typing and viewing; not sure what that’s about though. Any ideas?
