Apple Releases OS X 10.6.8 Supplemental Update for Snow Leopard Users

Apple has pushed out an update for you retro folks that are still on OS X Snow Leopard. A new supplemental update for 10.6.8 addresses some issues when migrating your Mac from Snow Leopard to Lion, as well as a few more bug fixes.

Apple’s latest Snow Leopard patch should fix problems relating to:

Transferring personal data, settings, and compatible applications from a Mac running Mac OS X Snow Leopard to a new Mac running Mac OS X Lion
Certain network printers that pause print jobs immediately and fail to complete
System audio that stops working when using HDMI or optical audio out

To grab this latest update (which is recommended, especially if you’re planning on updating to OS X Lion), run Software Update on your Mac. You can also find the download on Apple’s support site.
